Journals Published by VILNIUS TECH

Currently, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University publishes sixteen open access peer reviewed scientific journals. Eight of them are in the field of physical and technology sciences, five in the social sciences, and three are multidisciplinary.

VILNIUS TECH supports Open Access and covers major part of journal publishing costs. Nine out of 16 VILNIUS TECH journals are published with no article processing charge (APC). The rest of the journals have APC partially covered by VILNIUS TECH and partnering organization.

For seven years, VILNIUS TECH published 12 journals in cooperation with Taylor & Francis, one of the world’s most prestigious academic publishing companies. From year, 2018 VILNIUS TECH publishes research journals as open access by itself. All articles are published under CC-BY 4.0 license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited.

As VILNIUS TECH understands the importance of core principles of scholarly communication, the editors of VILNIUS TECH journals strive to organize peer review process within 60 days, and VILNIUS TECH puts effort in publishing articles usually within 4–6 weeks after acceptance. VILNIUS TECH journals operates under continuous publication model so articles are published as soon as they are ready.
