Abstract

In today’s dynamic society, the evolving nature of personality influence necessitates novel methods for fostering student individuality and personal skill development, crucial for societal interaction and educational progression. The purpose of the study is to explore socio-cultural approaches to developing individuality and personal skills among secondary school students. The study employs a mixed-method approach, integrating quantitative analysis of a questionnaire administered to 40 secondary school students and qualitative insights from educational innovation practices. The questionnaire focused on assessing student perceptions of various developmental methodologies, including creative projects, mentoring programs, and organized training events. The results of the study indicate that developmental preferences vary by age: 12–13-year-olds benefit significantly from creative projects, 14–15-year-olds from structured trainings and events, and 16-year-olds from mentoring and elective courses. This diversity underscores the effectiveness of individualized educational approaches tailored to developmental stages and personal preferences. Furthermore, students across all age groups responded positively to the integration of innovative technologies in their learning environments, highlighting the role of creative tools in personal and skill development. The study confirms the necessity of adopting age-specific, innovative educational strategies that effectively combine soft and hard skills to foster robust individuality and skill sets among students, preparing them for future academic and societal challenges.
