The objective of this special issue is to provide a platform for academicians and industry researchers to identify and debate technical problems and recent accomplishments associated with Smart Systems including Internet of Vehicles (IoV), and Internet of Things (IoT) for Smart Cities.

Manuscripts submitted for this special issue that are not finally selected for the specific issue (due to the limited number of manuscripts per issue) but are of high quality, may be included in a subsequent regular issue of the TRANSPORT, upon special issue editors’ proposal.
