Investigation of pockels cells crystal contrast ratio distribution
Abstract
The BBO Pockel’s cell has been investigated. The investigation results of optimal operating area on the surface of the crystal dependent of intrinsic contrast ratio (ICR) and voltage contrast ratio (VCR) for Pockel’s cell are presented. The block diagram of Pockel’s cells contrast measurement stand and measurement methodology are introduced and discussed. The graphs of intrinsic contrast ratio distribution on crystal surface, contrast ratio with voltage dependency and voltage contrast ratio distribution on crystal surface with half-wave voltage are presented.Article in Lithuanian.
Medžiagos kontrasto pasiskirstymo Pokelso narvelio kristale tyrimas Santrauka Darbe pateikti BBO (angl. Beta barium borate) kristalų Pokelso narvelyje kontrasto be įtampos ir kontrasto su įtampa optimalios darbo zonos kristalo paviršiaus atžvilgiu tyrimų rezultatai. Aprašoma kontrasto matavimo schema, pateikta kontrasto matavimo metodika. Pateikti medžiagos kontrasto pasiskirstymo be įtampos kristalo paviršiaus atžvilgiu grafikai, kontrasto priklausomybės nuo įtampos, kontrasto priklausomybės nuo orientacijos nuokrypio bei kontrasto esant pusės bangos įtampai pasiskirstymo kristalo paviršiaus atžvilgiu grafikai. Tyrimai buvo atlikti su „Eksma Optics“ įmonės BBO Pokelso narveliu, kurio serijinis numeris S/N 13.1124. Gauti rezultatai pagrindžia Pokelso narvelio įtampos mažinimo efektyvumą.Reikšminiai žodžiai: kietojo kūno lazeris, Pokelso narvelis, Beta Barium Borate kristalas, medžiagos kontrastas.
