Kinetics of the removal of chromium complex dye from aqueous solutions using activated carbons and polymeric adsorbent

Abstract

The kinetics of the removal of chromium complex dye (Lanasyn Navy M-DNL) from aqueous solutions using polymeric adsorbent Macronet MN 200 (MN 200) as an alternative option for activated carbon Norit RB 0.8 CC (AC) was studied in the batch system. The residual colour of dye solution treated with AC or MN 200 strongly depends on solution pH with lower values at acidic pH when a positively charged surface net is favourable for the adsorption of the dye anion. The removal of dye using MN 200 was found relatively higher than that using AC. The pseudo-second order and intraparticle diffusion models agreed well with experimental data. The parameters of these models were studied as a function of temperature and adsorbent nature.

Chromo kompleksinio dažiklio pašalinimo iš vandeninių  tirpalų aktyvintosiomis anglimis ir polimeriniu  sorbentu kinetiniai tyrimai

Anotacija. Nagrinėjama chromo kompleksinio dažiklio (Lanasyn Navy M-DNL) pašalinimo statinėmis sąlygomis iš vandeninių tirpalų polimeriniu adsorbentu Macronet MN 200, kaip alternatyva aktyvintajai angliai Norit RB 0.8 CC, kinetika. Rūgštinėje terpėje abiejų adsorbentų paviršius įgauna teigiamąjį krūvį, palankų dažiklio anijono adsorbcijai. MN 200 pasižymi didesne adsorbcine geba dažiklio atžvilgiu nei AA. Aptariama adsorbento prigimties ir temperatūros įtaka sistemų „dažiklis – AA“, „dažiklis – MN 200“ pseudoantrojo laipsnio ir vidinės difuzijos modelių parametrams.

Reikšminiai žodžiai: Macronet MN 200, polimerinis adsorbentas, aktyvintoji anglis, adsorbcinė geba.
