Post-use evaluation of Beijing's Second Green Belt country parks based on LSTM model analysis
DOI: https://doi.org/10.3846/jeelm.2026.28599Abstract
The country parks in Beijing’s Second Green Belt are important to urban green space expansion and recreation. Therefore, exploring park visitors’ real needs and expectations has practical significance. Online review data and the LSTM model were used to analyze and systemically study four aspects of the country park – location layout, landscape environment, functional service, and physical and mental perception. The results showed that 1) The overall emotional scores of visitors’ comments on the country parks were high and varied by season. Spring and autumn were the peak comment periods and had high emotional values, in contrast to summer and winter. 2) Management service and supporting facilities had the lowest emotional value; negative comments indicated a lack of park facilities and rich landscapes affected the recreation experience. 3) Natural landscape and aesthetic perception determined that emotional attitudes affected overall visitor evaluations and were positively correlated with overall emotional values.
